Just read the Dickson Productions Myspace Blog and they announced that both Hayes Carll and Matt Powell have been added to the lineup. This just about completes what I would call a perfect musicfest. Get Bleu back up in the altitude and I’ll be completely happy.
I guarantee I get at least one person a day tell me that they are ready for steamboat… which is great.. because so am I! Trisha wrapped up the design for this years gear. We’re not doing shirts this year and will instead try a go at beanies… check out these design we’re going to do.
Nichols ordered his custom steamboat shirt today with a funny slogan on it. I’m having mine made that says “I’m with Mr. Ironic”. When you see the two together.. you’ll get it. :)

50 Cent says download music?
not really strong enough for it’s own blog post, but news worthy enough to mention… 50 Cent is quoted as saying about downloading music illegally, “What is important for the music industry to understand is that this really doesn’t hurt the artists.”
He also mentions that the industry needs to figure out how to monetize things such as merch, ringtones, concerts, etc.. It’s an interesting approach to a problem that will never go away. Maybe we’ll see some cool stuff from him on his next album.
