Boland at Pub Fiction

“But if you let go today, they are gonna heal up alright”… Boland

Went to Boland last night at Pub Fiction, downtown. Started off watching game #1 at dinner. Oysters, beer, hush puppies and catching up! I’m still looking for a good oyster bar downtown.. they are all too ritzy for my taste!

So on to the show… Boland takes the stage with Noah playing lead and it sounded amazing! The man’s voice amazes me how he can take a song and put a soul behind it.. you can actually feel the song when he sings it. We were all commenting on how being so much older now in the scene how there is no front.. it’s like he doesn’t feel the need to have an image.. he just gets up there and plays good music. We heard the baseball song (which sounded completely different than when Stoney does it), Train to Birmingham, Mexico or Crazy, Falling with Style & Mary. I missed Love Song but that’s OK.

Boland

It was a great show with great friends (here’s Craig, Heather and I) and a great way to spend a Wed night!
