I came home after rehearsal on Thursday night and told Katie something very similar to what you've posted here about this song and Robbie. I think this song is poetry. When I was mixing it, I envisioned the piano melody as the hope he sings of coinciding with the dawning of a new day - "the radiant light of the morning sun" where "we can find our redemption". Really wanting the piano to sit on top of the band in those moments. I've been listening to it over and over again! Very cool!
